How to connect Manus to your social media

  1. 1
Create a Schedulin account & connect your socials

Sign up free and link the social accounts you want Manus to post to. Manus posts to accounts you've already connected — it can't add new ones for you.

  2. 2
Add Schedulin as a connector in Manus

In Manus, open Connectors, click Create, and choose Add MCP by URL (older versions call it Custom MCP with transport set to HTTP). Name it Schedulin, paste the server URL https://mcp.schedulin.app/mcp, and save.

  3. 3
    Sign in and approve access

The first time Manus uses the connector, it opens a Schedulin consent screen. Sign in, review the scope, and approve. Access is scoped to one workspace and revokable any time.

  4. 4
    Give Manus a task

Start a new task and describe the outcome — “write a week of LinkedIn and X posts from my latest blog post and add them to my queue.” Manus checks the platform rules, fills your queue, and publishes or saves drafts.

The connector URL:

https://mcp.schedulin.app/mcp

Tasks to hand Manus

Manus works through multi-step jobs on its own. These play to that.

Research, then post

“Find the three biggest AI news stories this week, write a short take on each for X and LinkedIn, and save them as Schedulin drafts.”

Repurpose long-form

“Read the newest article on my blog, turn it into a 5-post Threads series and an Instagram caption, and queue them.”

Fill the month

“Look at my queue schedule, find every empty slot next week, and fill each one with a post that fits the channel.”

Weekly report

“Pull last week's analytics for every channel, build a short report with the top 3 posts, and draft follow-ups to the winner.”

What Manus can post, per platform

Manus checks these rules automatically before it posts.

Troubleshooting

The assistant can't see the Schedulin tools

Confirm the connector is added and enabled, and that you finished the sign-in (OAuth) step. Start a fresh chat after connecting — tools are loaded when the conversation begins.

“No social accounts found”

Connect at least one social account in the Schedulin dashboard first. The assistant posts to accounts you've already linked — it can't add new ones.

A post failed for one platform

Each platform has its own rules (media type, caption length, required fields). Ask the assistant to check get_platform_requirements for that platform, fix the issue, and retry.

It published when I only wanted a draft

Tell it to create drafts instead of publishing — e.g. “save these as drafts for my review.” You can also disconnect or re-scope access any time under Settings → API & Apps.

Prefer a different assistant?

The same connector works everywhere. Use it with ChatGPT or Claude, or see the full MCP guide for Cursor, Notion, Perplexity, n8n, and custom agents.

Frequently asked questions

Can Manus really post to my social media accounts?

Yes. Once you connect Schedulin to Manus, the agent can draft, schedule, and publish posts to any account you've linked in Schedulin — TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, and Reddit. You describe what you want and Manus runs the tools.

How does Manus connect to Schedulin?

Through MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard Manus uses for connectors. You add Schedulin's hosted server URL as a custom MCP connector and sign in with OAuth. There's nothing to install or host. It's a third-party connector, not native Manus functionality.

Why use Manus instead of ChatGPT or Claude for this?

Manus is built to run long, multi-step tasks on its own. That makes it good at jobs like “research this week's news in my niche, write a post for each platform, and fill my queue” — work that would take several back-and-forth turns in a chat assistant. For quick one-off posts, any MCP client works.

Is it safe to let an autonomous agent post for me?

You stay in control. The OAuth connection shows a consent screen, is scoped to a single workspace, and can be revoked any time under Settings → API & Apps. For autonomous runs, tell Manus to save drafts instead of publishing — then approve them in Schedulin.

Which platforms can Manus post to?

All ten Schedulin supports: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, and Reddit — including platform-specific options like Pinterest boards and TikTok creator settings.

Do I need a paid plan?

Manus connectors and task runs use Manus credits, so check your Manus plan's limits. On the Schedulin side, the MCP server is included on paid plans at no extra cost, starting at $5/mo with a 7-day free trial.
