How to connect ChatGPT to your social media

Sign up free and link the social accounts you want ChatGPT to post to. ChatGPT posts to accounts you've already connected — it can't add new ones for you.

In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Connectors (custom connectors may require developer mode / a Plus, Pro, Team, or Enterprise plan), choose Add custom connector, paste the server URL

ChatGPT opens a Schedulin consent screen. Sign in, review the scope, and approve. Access is scoped to one workspace and revokable any time.

Start a new chat and just ask — “draft a launch post for X and LinkedIn and schedule both for tomorrow morning.” ChatGPT checks the platform rules, fills your queue, and publishes or saves drafts.

Troubleshooting
The assistant can't see the Schedulin tools
Confirm the connector is added and enabled, and that you finished the sign-in (OAuth) step. Start a fresh chat after connecting — tools are loaded when the conversation begins.
“No social accounts found”
Connect at least one social account in the Schedulin dashboard first. The assistant posts to accounts you've already linked — it can't add new ones.
A post failed for one platform
Each platform has its own rules (media type, caption length, required fields). Ask the assistant to check get_platform_requirements for that platform, fix the issue, and retry.
It published when I only wanted a draft
Tell it to create drafts instead of publishing — e.g. “save these as drafts for my review.” You can also disconnect or re-scope access any time under Settings → API & Apps.

Yes. Once you connect Schedulin to ChatGPT, it can draft, schedule, and publish posts to any account you've linked in Schedulin — TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, and Reddit. You ask in plain English and it runs the tools.
Is this an official ChatGPT app?
Schedulin connects to ChatGPT through MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard for connectors. You add Schedulin as a connector using the hosted server URL and sign in with OAuth — no plugin store required. It's a third-party connector, not native ChatGPT functionality.
Do I need ChatGPT Plus or a special plan?
You need a ChatGPT plan that supports custom connectors (currently Plus, Pro, Team, Enterprise, and Edu tiers). On the Schedulin side, the MCP server is included on paid plans at no extra cost, starting at $5/mo with a 7-day free trial.
Is it safe to let ChatGPT post for me?
You stay in control. The OAuth connection shows a consent screen, is scoped to a single workspace, and can be revoked any time under Settings → API & Apps. You can also tell ChatGPT to create drafts for your review instead of publishing directly.
