DEV.to Article Scheduler
Schedulin publishes Markdown articles to DEV.to at the time you choose, with a title, up to four tags, a cover image, and a canonical URL pointing back to your own blog. It's built for developers and DevRel teams who cross-post technical writing and want it promoted on social the same day.

How do I schedule a DEV.to article?
Connect with an API key, write in Markdown, and set the publish time. No browser tab required.
Generate a DEV.to API key
On DEV.to, open Settings → Extensions → DEV Community API Keys, name it 'Schedulin', and click Generate API Key.
Paste the key into Schedulin
Start the DEV.to connection on the Channels page and paste the key. Schedulin verifies it against your DEV.to profile before connecting.
Write the article
Add a title and write the body in Markdown — code blocks, headings, and links carry straight over. Attach an image to use it as the cover, and add up to four tags.
Publish or draft on schedule
Pick a time. Leave 'Publish immediately' on to go live then, or turn it off to land the article as a draft on DEV.to for a final review.
Cross-post to DEV.to without hurting your own blog's SEO
DEV.to is one of the easiest places for a technical post to find readers, but publishing the same article on your own site and DEV.to raises a fair question: which copy does Google rank? The answer is the canonical URL. Set it to your original post and DEV.to tells search engines your site is the source, so you get DEV.to's audience without competing against yourself.
Schedulin puts that field in the composer next to title and tags, so cross-posting becomes part of the publishing checklist instead of an afterthought. Schedule the DEV.to copy for a day or two after your blog post goes live, and schedule the social posts that promote it at the same time.
Articles saved as drafts only get a public URL once they're published on DEV.to. Until then the saved link is a placeholder.

Which DEV.to article options does Schedulin support?
The fields that matter for a technical article, set before you schedule.
Markdown body
Whatever you write in the composer becomes the article's body_markdown, so fenced code blocks, headings, lists, and links render the way DEV.to readers expect.
Required title
Every DEV.to article needs a title, up to 250 characters. Schedulin asks for it up front so a scheduled article never fails at publish time for a missing one.
Up to 4 tags
Add DEV.to's maximum of four topic tags, such as javascript, webdev, or tutorial, so the article reaches the right tag feeds.
Canonical URL
Point search engines back to the original post on your own site when you're republishing on DEV.to.
Cover image
The first image you attach becomes the article's main image, shown at the top of the post and in DEV.to's feed.
Publish or save as draft
Go live at the scheduled time, or deliver the article to your DEV.to dashboard as a draft for a last proofread.
What are the limits of DEV.to scheduling?
DEV.to's API doesn't expose per-article metrics to third-party tools, so Schedulin records each article and its URL but doesn't report reactions or views. Series and organization selection aren't in the composer yet. You can add those on DEV.to after the article publishes.
If your API key is revoked, generate a new one and reconnect. For automated pipelines, the same scheduling is available through the Schedulin API.
Articles and promo posts on one calendar
Line up the DEV.to article, the LinkedIn post announcing it, and the X thread summarizing it, so a launch doesn't depend on remembering three tabs.
