One prompt. A tuned draft for every network.
Chat with an AI assistant that writes a separate draft for each platform you select — short for X, a few hashtags for Instagram, a hook-and-insight structure for LinkedIn — then refine it in a streaming chat and send it to the composer.
What does the AI assistant do in Schedulin?
The AI assistant is a chat panel next to a post composer, under Chat in the sidebar. Describe what you want to post and it writes one draft per platform you've selected, following style guides for X, Bluesky, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and Reddit.
It can read a web page you link, look at images you attach, transcribe video, and pull your own analytics, queue, tags, saved replies, and hashtag groups. It stages drafts for you to review — it never publishes on its own.
What can you do with AI Assistant?
Drafts tuned per platform
Describe your post once and get a separate draft for each selected network, shaped to its length, tone, and hashtag norms.
Streaming AI chat
Brainstorm, rewrite, and refine in a real-time chat. Ask for a shorter hook or a different angle and the draft updates.
Understands your media
Attach images and video in the chat: images are described and videos transcribed, so captions match what you're posting.
Knows your account
Ask about your best posts, analytics, or upcoming queue, and get answers — with inline charts — from your own data.
Reads links
Paste a URL to a blog post or product page and the assistant reads it before writing about it.
You stay in control
The assistant fills the composer or saves drafts. You decide when to publish or schedule.
How do you get started with AI Assistant?
Describe your post
Tell the assistant what you want to say, paste a link, or attach the media you're posting.
Get tuned drafts
Receive a draft for each platform you selected, shaped to that network's style.
Refine and schedule
Chat to tweak the tone or length, then publish, schedule, or save the post from the composer.
How does the AI assistant work?
The assistant combines a language model with tools that read your Schedulin workspace, so it can write with context instead of guessing.
Where it lives
Click Chat in the sidebar to open the AI editor: a post composer on the left and the chat on the right. Conversations are saved per workspace so you can pick up where you left off.
What it can look up
It can list your connected accounts, pull post analytics and your best posts from the last 180 days, check your queue, search posts and tags, read recent comments, and fetch your saved replies and hashtag groups.
Media understanding
Images you attach in the chat (PNG, JPEG, GIF, or WebP) are described by a vision model, and videos are transcribed, so captions reflect what's actually on screen and said.
Platform settings
Beyond captions, it can set platform options: X reply settings, Instagram feed, Story, or Reel, LinkedIn visibility and first comment, subreddit and flair, YouTube privacy and title, TikTok privacy, and Pinterest board.
Quick captions in the composer
The regular post composer also has a sparkles button that writes a caption from a short prompt. It has its own small monthly allowance and doesn't use your AI credits.
How AI credits work
Chat, carousels, AI UGC ads, and Studio image and video generation share one AI credit balance per workspace, charged by actual usage. Each plan adds a monthly allotment that stacks with any unused balance, and you can top up from $1 under Settings → AI usage.
How many AI credits come with each plan?
| Plan | Price | Monthly AI credits | Credits cover |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $5/mo | $3 | AI chat, carousels, UGC ads, and Studio images and video |
| Creator | $10/mo | $3 | AI chat, carousels, UGC ads, and Studio images and video |
| Pro | $20/mo | $8 | AI chat, carousels, UGC ads, and Studio images and video |
Unused credits carry over as each month's allotment is added. Top up any time with packs or a custom amount from $1 to $500.
Built to save you time
Never stare at a blank editor
The hardest part of posting is starting. The assistant always gives you a strong first draft to react to.
Sound native on every platform
What works on LinkedIn flops on X. Get copy that fits each network instead of pasting the same caption everywhere.
Move from idea to scheduled in minutes
Generate, refine, and schedule in one screen — no copy-pasting between a chatbot and your scheduler.
AI Assistant FAQ
How does the AI caption assistant work?
Open Chat, select the accounts you're posting to, and describe the post or attach media. The assistant writes one draft per selected platform following that network's style guide, and you refine it in the chat before sending it to the composer.
Which platforms does the AI assistant write for?
It has style guides for X, Bluesky, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and Reddit — for example, under 280 characters for X and one to three hashtags for Instagram.
Can the AI see my images and videos?
Yes, in Chat. Images you attach are described by a vision model and videos are transcribed, and the assistant uses that context to write captions that match what you're posting.
Can the AI publish posts for me?
No. The assistant fills in the composer or saves posts as drafts. Publishing and scheduling always happen when you click the button yourself.
Does it learn my writing style?
It doesn't train on your posts. You can steer tone and length in the chat, and it can read your saved replies to match your team's wording.
Can it use my analytics?
Yes. Ask which posts performed best, how your queue looks, or what your audience is doing, and it pulls the numbers from your workspace and can chart them inline.
Is the AI assistant included in my plan?
Yes. Every plan includes a monthly AI credit allotment — $3 on Starter, $3 on Creator, and $8 on Pro — shared by chat, carousels, AI UGC ads, and Studio image and video generation. You can top up any time.
Can the assistant generate images?
The chat assistant writes text and doesn't create images. AI image generation is available through the Schedulin API and MCP server.
