How do I schedule posts to a Telegram channel?

No BotFather, no token juggling. One shared bot does the posting — you just tell it where.

1

Add @schedulin_bot as an admin

Open your Telegram channel or group and add @schedulin_bot as an administrator with permission to post messages. Telegram only lets bots post to channels as admins.

2

Paste your channel or chat ID

On Schedulin's Channels page, start the Telegram connection and enter the public @username — or, for a private channel, the numeric ID from its web URL. Schedulin checks the bot can see the chat before saving.

3

Compose your post

Write up to 4,096 characters of text, or attach one photo or video, or build an album of up to 10 images and videos. Toggle link previews and silent delivery per post.

4

Pick a time and walk away

Schedule it, drop it into your queue, or publish now. At the scheduled moment the bot posts to your channel and Schedulin saves the t.me link to the post.

Why schedule Telegram posts instead of posting by hand?

Telegram channels are a broadcast medium: every post lands in subscribers' chat lists and, by default, pings their phones. That makes timing matter more than on an algorithmic feed. Post at 3 a.m. your audience's time and you either wake people up or get buried under a hundred other unread chats by morning.

Scheduling lets you write when it suits you and deliver when it suits your subscribers — and the send-silently toggle lets you publish low-priority updates without a notification at all. Because Telegram sits on the same calendar as your other networks, a product launch or new article can reach your channel at the same minute it hits X, LinkedIn, or Instagram.

Private channels don't have an @username. Paste the numeric ID instead — Schedulin accepts both the -100… form and the shorter ID shown in web.telegram.org URLs, and tries the -100 prefix for you.

Schedule Telegram posts in seconds

Group accounts, publish to every channel at once, and keep media, captions, and hashtags perfectly in sync.

What can Schedulin post to Telegram?

Everything the Bot API supports for channel posts, mapped to the right message type automatically.

Text posts up to 4,096 characters

Long-form channel posts with no media go out as a single message at Telegram's full 4,096-character limit.

Albums of up to 10 items

Attach several images or videos and Schedulin sends them as one Telegram media group, with your caption on the first item.

Single photo or video posts

One attachment is sent as a native photo or video message with the caption underneath. Telegram limits media captions to 1,024 characters.

Send silently

Deliver a post without a notification sound — good for minor updates, late-night posts, or a burst of several messages.

Disable link preview

Hide the preview card Telegram generates from the first URL in your text, so the message reads the way you wrote it.

Channels and groups

Connect as many channels and groups as your plan allows. Each one is a separate account you can target, queue, and cross-post to.

What are the limits of Telegram scheduling?

Posts are sent by the shared @schedulin_bot, not your personal Telegram account, and the bot must stay an admin of the chat. If someone removes it, re-add it and reconnect.

Telegram's Bot API doesn't expose view or reaction counts to bots, so Schedulin records each post and its t.me link but doesn't report Telegram analytics. For networks that do, see analytics.

Your channel on the same calendar

Telegram posts sit on the drag-and-drop calendar next to every other network, so announcements stay coordinated instead of copy-pasted.

Explore the calendar

Announce once. Telegram, Discord, and X together.

Community channels usually get the same announcement. Compose it once and send it to Telegram, Discord, and X in one go, with per-network edits where each audience needs them. See how scheduling and queues work.

Put your Telegram channel on autopilot

Add the bot, paste your channel, and schedule a week of posts in one sitting.

Telegram scheduling FAQs

No. Schedulin posts through a single shared bot, @schedulin_bot. You add it to your channel or group as an administrator with permission to post messages, then paste the chat's @username or ID into Schedulin. There is no BotFather step and no token to copy.
