How to connect Claude to your social media

Sign up free and link the social accounts you want Claude to post to. Claude posts to accounts you've already connected — it can't add new ones for you.
- 2Add Schedulin as a connector in Claude
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector. Paste the server URL

Claude opens a Schedulin consent screen. Sign in, review the scope, and approve. Access is scoped to one workspace and revokable any time.

Start a new conversation and just ask — “draft a launch post for X and LinkedIn and schedule both for tomorrow morning.” Claude checks the platform rules, fills your queue, and publishes or saves drafts.

Troubleshooting
The assistant can't see the Schedulin tools
Confirm the connector is added and enabled, and that you finished the sign-in (OAuth) step. Start a fresh chat after connecting — tools are loaded when the conversation begins.
“No social accounts found”
Connect at least one social account in the Schedulin dashboard first. The assistant posts to accounts you've already linked — it can't add new ones.
A post failed for one platform
Each platform has its own rules (media type, caption length, required fields). Ask the assistant to check get_platform_requirements for that platform, fix the issue, and retry.
It published when I only wanted a draft
Tell it to create drafts instead of publishing — e.g. “save these as drafts for my review.” You can also disconnect or re-scope access any time under Settings → API & Apps.

Can Claude really post to my social media accounts?
Yes. Once you connect Schedulin to Claude, it can draft, schedule, and publish posts to any account you've linked in Schedulin — TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, and Reddit. You ask in plain English and Claude runs the tools.
Is this an official Claude app?
Schedulin connects to Claude through MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard Anthropic uses for connectors. You add Schedulin as a custom connector with the hosted server URL and sign in with OAuth. It's a third-party connector, not native Claude functionality.
Does it work in Claude Code too?
Yes. In Claude Code, run `claude mcp add schedulin --transport http https://mcp.schedulin.app/mcp --header "x-api-key: YOUR_API_KEY"` with an API key from Settings → API keys. The claude.ai and desktop apps use the OAuth connector flow instead.
Do I need a paid Claude plan?
Custom connectors are available on Claude's paid plans (Pro, Max, Team, Enterprise). On the Schedulin side, the MCP server is included on paid plans at no extra cost, starting at $5/mo with a 7-day free trial.
Is it safe to let Claude post for me?
You stay in control. The OAuth connection shows a consent screen, is scoped to a single workspace, and can be revoked any time under Settings → API & Apps. You can also tell Claude to create drafts for your review instead of publishing directly.
