How do I schedule a Nostr note?
Paste your key, write the note, and pick a time. No relay setup required.
Get your secret key
Copy your nsec (or 64-character hex key) from your Nostr client's key or backup settings. Want to keep your main key out of other apps? Generate a separate key for the account you schedule from.
Connect it to Schedulin
Start the Nostr connection on Schedulin's Channels page and paste the key. Leave the relays field blank to use well-connected defaults, or list your own relays.
Write the note
Write in the composer and attach images. Each image is added as a link at the end of the note, which Nostr clients show inline.
Pick a time
Schedule it, or add it to your queue. At that time Schedulin signs the note and sends it to every relay on your list.
Post to Nostr without leaving your usual scheduler
Nostr clients don't have a scheduler. The usual options are to post by hand at the right moment or to run your own relay or bot. Most people who also post to X, Bluesky, or Mastodon end up skipping Nostr or posting there late.
Schedulin treats Nostr as one more channel. Write a post once, adjust it for each network, and schedule Nostr alongside the others. Schedulin signs the note when it's due and publishes it to several relays at once, so it shows up wherever your followers read.
Your secret key is encrypted at rest and only used to sign the notes you schedule. Nostr keys can't be revoked, so use a key you're comfortable sharing with a scheduling app.

What does Schedulin support on Nostr?
Plain notes that work in every client, sent to the relays you pick.
Standard kind:1 notes
Every note is a regular text note, the kind Damus, Primal, Amethyst, and every other client already display. No special client needed.
Images in the note
Attached images are hosted by Schedulin and linked at the end of the note, which Nostr clients render inline.
Publishes to several relays
Notes go to multiple well-known relays by default, or to your own list. A note counts as published as soon as one relay accepts it.
nsec or hex keys
Paste your secret key in either format. Schedulin derives your public key and shows the account by its npub.
A link to every note
Each published note gets an njump.me link, so you can open it on the web or share it with people outside Nostr.
Queue and calendar
Nostr notes use the same queue slots, calendar, and drafts as the rest of your channels.
What are the limits of Nostr scheduling?
Schedulin publishes plain text notes with optional images. Replies, reposts, long-form articles (kind:30023), and zaps aren't supported yet. Nostr has no central metrics service, so Schedulin records each note and its link but doesn't report likes or views. The account appears under its npub, not your profile name.
Connecting requires your secret key, because remote signers (NIP-46) aren't supported yet. For automated pipelines, the same scheduling is available through the Schedulin API.
