Compose once, preview everywhere, schedule across every platform with Schedulin.
Schedule on SchedulinA raw screenshot on a feed reads as effort-free. Wrap it in a gradient, round the corners, drop a soft shadow underneath — and the same content suddenly looks intentional. Engineers post product screenshots this way for a reason: the framing is the difference between scroll-past and stop-and-read.
This tool is the fast, free version of what designers used to do in Figma. Drop in a screenshot, pick a background, export. No layers, no font installs, no plug-ins.
- Background: 12 preset gradients, a solid color picker, or upload your own image.
- Aspect ratio: Auto, plus the six ratios you actually need (16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4, 9:16).
- Padding, rounded corners, shadow: the three levers that make a screenshot look intentional.
- Frames: wrap your screenshot in a fake browser window (light or dark) or a macOS-style traffic-light bar.
- Patterns: subtle dots, grid, stripes, waves, or zigzag overlays for extra texture.
- Rotation & scale: nudge the screenshot off- axis for an editorial feel, or shrink it for more breathing room.
The editor runs entirely in your browser. Your screenshot never leaves the page — no upload, no server, no analytics on the image itself. Refresh and it's gone.
Frequently asked questions
Is the screenshot beautifier free?
Yes. No sign-up, no watermark, no upload limits. Images stay in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
What image formats can I upload?
Any format your browser can render: PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF (first frame). You can also paste directly from the clipboard (Cmd/Ctrl+V).
What does the export look like?
A 2x-resolution PNG of the entire canvas — background, padding, shadow, frame, pattern, rotation. Drop it into a tweet, LinkedIn post, or blog header.
Can I match the export to a specific platform size?
Pick the aspect ratio that matches the platform — 16:9 for X cards, 1:1 for Instagram feed, 9:16 for Stories/Reels/TikTok. See our image-sizes guide for the exact targets.
Why does my pasted screenshot look small?
High-DPI screenshots can render at half the visual size. Use the Scale slider to grow it, or the Padding slider to tighten the margins around it.
Do you store my screenshots?
No. The editor runs entirely in your browser. Refresh the page and the image is gone.
Are there keyboard shortcuts?
Yes. E to download, C to copy to clipboard, R to reset, 1–6 to switch aspect ratios, Cmd/Ctrl+Z to undo, Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Z to redo.
Can I share my layout with someone else?
Yes. Every change is encoded into the URL, so 'Share link' copies a link that opens the editor with the exact same settings (your uploaded image isn't included — privacy first).
How is this different from contentport / Pika / Screenly?
We're a scheduling-first product, so the beautifier feeds straight into our composer when you're signed in. The free version stays free forever — the integrated version pulls your brand colors and is one click away from a scheduled post.
