Slack scheduling is live on Schedulin

September 30, 2026 — Schedulin, the social media scheduler for creators and small teams, now publishes to Slack. Starting today, you can schedule messages, images, and video to any channel in your Slack workspace from the same calendar, queue, and composer you already use for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Discord, Telegram, and the rest.

Slack joins Discord and Telegram as the third community channel on Schedulin, and it's included on every plan at no extra cost.

Why Slack

A lot of communities don't live on a social network anymore. They live in a Slack: a customer community, a members-only group for a course or newsletter, an open-source project's workspace, a founder network. The people running them post the same way social media managers do — weekly roundups, event reminders, launch announcements, "welcome, new folks" threads — and they've been doing it by hand.

Slack does have a built-in "schedule message" option. It's great for nudging a coworker at 9am. It's not built for running a community: it sends one message at a time from your personal account, lives in a separate place from the rest of your content, and doesn't know that the same launch is also going out on LinkedIn, X, and Discord that morning.

That's the gap this fills. Your Slack announcements now sit on one calendar with everything else, so when a launch date moves, you drag it once and every channel moves with it.

What's included

• One-click connection. Approve the Schedulin app on Slack's own authorization screen. No bot to build, no webhook URLs, no tokens to copy.
• Any channel, per post. Paste a channel ID in the composer and the post goes there. Schedulin joins public channels on its own; private channels work once you invite the app.
• Formatted text. Captions keep Slack's formatting — bold, italics, lists, and links.
• Images inline, video as native files. Images render under your message. Videos are uploaded to Slack as real files and shared with your caption, so members can play them without leaving Slack.
• Multiple workspaces. Each workspace you connect is its own account, so a community Slack and a customer Slack can run side by side.
• Clear errors. If the app isn't in a private channel or a permission is missing, the failed post tells you exactly what to fix.

Slack doesn't offer a metrics API for channel messages, so Schedulin doesn't report reactions or views for Slack posts. Every published post is saved with a direct link to the message.

How to get started

1. Sign in to Schedulin (or start a 7-day free trial, no card required).
2. Open the Channels page and click Connect Slack.
3. Approve the Schedulin app for your workspace.
4. In the composer, pick your Slack workspace, paste a channel ID, write your message, and schedule it.
