What is the Schedulin media library?
The media library is a shared gallery of every image and video your workspace has uploaded to Schedulin — from the post composer, Google Drive, Canva, an upload link, or the API. You'll find it under Create → Media.
You can search by file name, filter by images or videos, tag assets with your workspace tags, and filter by one or more tags at once. Files are stored on Cloudflare R2, and thumbnails are generated automatically.

How does the media library work?
The library is the storage layer behind every post. Anything uploaded to your workspace shows up here, shared with everyone on your team.
Where files come from
Upload JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, HEIC, MP4, MOV, or WebM files in the composer (HEIC photos are converted to JPG), import from Google Drive or Canva, use a signed upload link, or send files through the /v0/media API, including import from a public URL.
Finding the right file
The gallery loads 24 items at a time as you scroll. Search matches file names, and your type and tag filters are kept in the URL, so you can bookmark or share a filtered view with a teammate.
Tags shared with your posts
Media tags are the same workspace tags you use on posts, managed under Settings → Tags. Tag chips show how many assets use each tag, and selecting two or more lets you match any or all of them.
Previews and thumbnails
Click any card to open a full-size preview — videos play right in the library. Thumbnails of up to 512 pixels are generated in the background so large files don't slow the grid down.
Safe deletion
You can delete an asset from the library after confirming. If a file is still attached to a post, remove it from the post first, so scheduled posts never lose their media.
Reusing assets in automations
Library files have stable URLs, so API and MCP workflows can list your media and attach an existing asset to a new post by URL. In the app, Duplicate Post copies a post's media into a new post.

Each network's own limits still apply at publish time — for example, Instagram carousels take up to 10 items.

Media Library FAQ
What file types can I store in the media library?
Images (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and HEIC, which is converted to JPG) and videos (MP4, MOV, and WebM). PDFs aren't supported.
How do I add files to the media library?
Files are added when you upload them in the post composer — from your device, Google Drive, or Canva — or through a signed upload link or the /v0/media API. Everything uploaded to your workspace appears under Create → Media.
Can I organize my media with tags?
Yes. Apply your workspace tags to any asset, then filter the library by one or more tags using match-any or match-all. You can also search by file name and filter by images or videos.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes. Each image or video can be up to 250 MB. Individual networks have their own limits on file size, length, and aspect ratio, which Schedulin checks when you publish.
Is the media library shared with my team?
Yes. The library belongs to your workspace, so every member sees the same assets and tags.
Can I import from Google Drive and Canva?
Yes. In the composer you can browse My Drive, Shared drives, and Starred files in Google Drive, or open your Canva designs and export them as PNG, JPG, GIF, or MP4. Canva designs with premium elements need a paid Canva plan to export.
Can I delete media from the library?
Yes. Delete any asset after a confirmation step. If the file is attached to a post, remove it from that post first.
